GLENDALE — Police say a 21-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash in Glendale Sunday morning.
Glendale police responded to the crash at the intersection of 47th and Olive avenues around 10 a.m.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital where he later died, according to Glendale police.
Police say an investigation determined the man was driving at high speeds along Olive Avenue and performed a wheelie on the motorcycle just prior to losing control and crashing.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police say.

After several hours, the intersection reopened.
