GLENDALE, AZ — Glendale police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road Monday evening.

Just after 7 p.m., officers were called to the scene after receiving information about shots fired from their ShotSpotter system. Callers also reported that someone had been shot at the location.

Investigators say a silver sedan was occupied by three men who pulled into an apartment complex. At that time, a man walked up to the passenger side of the car and an argument began. Shots were exchanged between the pedestrian and people in the car.

Police say the pedestrian suffered gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle was also struck by gunfire and drove himself to the hospital. He is also in stable condition.

It's unknown what charges will be filed, pending interviews with the involved people.

Police told ABC15 Monday night that a man and a 15-year-old boy were struck by gunfire, but police did not clarify that information in an update.
