Glendale police say one person has been shot and the suspect is in custody.
Sgt. David Vidaure, spokesman for Glendale police, said dispatch received an initial call reporting the shooting at 8:15 a.m. on Monday.
Officers found the shooting victim near 43rd and Glendale avenues. The person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect ran away and police set up a perimeter in the area to find the suspect. Air15 video showed the apparent suspect being taken into custody at an apartment complex parking lot.

Two schools in the area were placed on lockdown but the lockdown has since been lifted.
