GLENDALE, AZ — Glendale police say they were investigating a "security threat" at Arrowhead Towne Center Saturday afternoon, prompting the evacuation of the mall.
At around 3:15 p.m., police said officers were working to secure the area after receiving an email of a bomb threat.
However, police say there was no evidence verifying the threat.
Officers say the area has been secured and say some surrounding areas have opened back up.
There was no evidence of the threat located. The area surrounding Arrowhead Towne Center is opened back up. Some of the businesses will remain closed for the remainder of the day.
