Several crashes in the west Valley overnight left multiple people with serious injuries, and left three people dead, police say.
51st Avenue and Bethany Home Road
Authorities say 19-year-old Ramon Morales Rodriguez died after theirhis car lost control and struck a palm tree near 51st Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Glendale police say the cause of the crash is under investigation. Authorities say no one else was injured in the crash.
59th Avenue and Medlock Drive
The second crash happened around 8 p.m. Monday near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road.
Police say a man crossing the street was struck by a car in the area.
The victim was left with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
95th Avenue and Cardinals Way
Glendale police say the crash involving a motorcycle left one person dead near 95th Avenue and Cardinals Way.
The crash happened after 11 p.m. Monday, and officers on scene confirmed the deadly crash to ABC15 crews.
It’s unclear what led to the crash.
43rd Avenue and Hadley Street
A deadly crash involving a pedestrian occurred near 43rd Avenue and Buckeye Road around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
A semi-truck reportedly hit a man who walked into the street mid-block, causing fatal injuries, Phoenix police say. The pedestrian, believed to be in his sixties, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash and the driver remained at the scene.
Police say 43rd Avenue will be closed for several hours Tuesday morning between Buckeye Road and Washington Street.
