Two people involved in a West Valley pursuit on Wednesday evening walked away with just a speeding ticket, according to authorities.

Air15 video showed a grey vehicle stopped on Loop 303 near Indian School Road.

According to DPS, stop sticks were successfully used to stop the vehicle after the driver failed to pull over.

DPS says the occupants were Chinese citizens and "were not familiar with police procedures." As a result, the driver was given a citation for his speed but otherwise was not charged.

The two were driven to their hotel by DPS, and their rental vehicle had to be towed because of three deflated tires.

No further information was immediately available.
