A 76-year-old man has died after his golf cart overturned in Goodyear Wednesday afternoon.
Goodyear police said the golf cart and a vehicle collided near Pebblecreek and Clubhouse Drive around 1:30 p.m. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died overnight. He was identified as Gerald Wunderlich.
Police said impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash. Citations could be issued, police said, but more would not be known until the investigation is finished.
