The Goodyear Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting at a neighborhood park that happened Monday.
Police say a man, identified as 21-year-old David Michael Amado, was found shot and killed at a park near Estrella and Lower Buckeye parkways Monday morning.
Police say it’s unclear how many shots were fired, but did say it's under investigation as a homicide.
Neighbors told police they heard shots and possible suspects fleeing the area.
No suspect description has been released.
Authorities are asking anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to call police at 623-882-7747.
