GOODYEAR, AZ — Authorities say they have located the family of a toddler found Wednesday morning.

Around 9:30 this morning, Goodyear PD located an African-American male, approx. 1-2 yrs of age, about 25-30 lbs. and 2 ½ ft. tall, in the area of 167/Fillmore St. If anyone knows who this boy belongs to, please contact Goodyear PD at 623-932-1220. pic.twitter.com/stF30BBukE
The Goodyear Police Department says officers found an African American child estimated to be one or two years old in the area of 167th Avenue and Fillmore Street.
The child is between 25 and 30 pounds and 2.5 feet tall.
Police did not provide an image of the child.
The toddler is the second child found alone in the Valley by police Wednesday. Just minutes before Goodyear police made their announcement, officers in Gilbert announced they were looking for the parents of a child found near Val Vista and Elliot.
