Officials from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office say a suicide investigation led authorities to a murder victim in Goodyear.

According to MCSO, on Sunday afternoon deputies received a report of a man found dead in a vehicle near Perryville Road and Hunt Highway.

The driver, identified as 45-year-old William Cahill, was found dead inside the vehicle from an apparent suicide, officials said.

As detectives were investigating, multiple videos were found on Cahill's phone along with a note directing someone to watch the clips.

In the videos, Cahill reportedly said he had shot his girlfriend "Daisy" twice and had placed her body in a well.

Officials said detectives had tried to locate Daisy, who was later identified as 37-year-old Carolyn Dahlgren, but were not successful.

On Tuesday, detectives found a private well in the area of 155th Avenue and Queen Creek Road.

Investigators utilized a private well company to recover Dahlgren's body around 9 p.m.

No further information was immediately available.
