Goodyear police have determined an online threat allegedly aimed at a West Valley high school was not credible.

Police increased their presence at the Millenium High School campus as a precaution on Friday, after reports of a threat circulating on social media.

In a letter reportedly sent home to Millenium parents on Thursday, school administrators said there was no reason to believe the threat to be true, but they remained cautious.

Police tell ABC15 they investigated the incident and determined the threat was not credible.

A juvenile was arrested for disrupting an education institution, according to officials.
