GOODYEAR, AZ — Goodyear police announced on Twitter Thursday that their newest K9, Diko, found five pounds of meth that is worth around $20K in a vehicle.

Goodyear patrol officers say they noticed a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations near the I-10 and Litchfiled Road.

Officers pulled the vehicle over and the driver allowed the officers and K9 to search the vehicle.

Diko just joined the force at the end of February.

Police say he graduated at the top of his K9 academy class and is the fifth K9 in the department.

What a good job, Diko!
