GOODYEAR — Western Sky Middle School was evacuated Wednesday afternoon as police investigated a bomb threat call.

"Everyone has been safely evacuated from the building and a search is being conducted by our bomb detecting K9s," Goodyear PD said in a statement. "The safety of all individuals on campus and the surrounding area is the top priority of the Goodyear Police Department and we are using every available resource to thoroughly investigate this incident."
Goodyear Police Department tweeted information about the evacuation on their official twitter page around 12 p.m. on Wednesday.
