GOODYEAR, AZ — Police have arrested a former department store employee for making bomb threats online against her former employer last November.
Police say 30-year-old Antoinette Perez made threats on Twitter against the Goodyear Macy's warehouse on November 23 and 29. The threats caused the warehouse to shut down for about 4 hours, according to a news release from the Goodyear Police Department.
Search warrants for electronic data led police to Perez. She was arrested just before 12:45 a.m. on April 12 at a convenience store near Central Avenue and Van Buren in Avondale.
Perez has been charged with four counts of making terrorist threats, among other charges. A judge set bond at $50,000. Online records listed her as still in custody as of Tuesday afternoon.
