A woman riding a horse had to be rescued in Litchfield Park on Friday.
Rural Metro said a 28-year-old woman was riding her horse near Reems Road and Orangewood Avenue when the horse fell into a ditch.
According to Rural Metro, the horse landed on top of the woman, pinning her temporarily.
Rural Metro responded and assisted the rider. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
