A Silver Alert for a missing couple who were supposed to be on their way to visit their son on Christmas Day was lifted late Friday night after they were found in Phoenix.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department, around 11:40 a.m. Bernard and Jessica Clark left their home in Youngtown to visit their son who lives in Litchfield Park.
The couple was supposed to arrive around noon, but never made it. Neither had a cell phone.
According to MCSO, bank records show that a credit card transaction was made in Laveen at a QuikTrip and a second transaction was made at a Circle K in Casa Grande around 6:10 p.m.
MCSO said late Friday night that they were located in Phoenix after what appears to have been a small non-injury accident.
They were reunited with their family soon afterward.
