A motorcyclist is dead after crash on Loop 101 early Tuesday morning.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a motorcyclist was rear-ended by a vehicle while heading eastbound in a center lane on L-101 near 51st Avenue.
The impact caused the rider, 24-year-old Noah Clementson of Wittman, to be ejected from the motorcycle onto the pavement. DPS says Clementson was trying to crawl to safety when he was struck by two other passing cars.
Officials say he was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead.
No criminal charges are pending at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
