The MCSO dive team was dispatched to the area over the weekend after the man didn't return while diving with two of his friends near the dam at the southern portion of the lake.
On Tuesday evening, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office identified the man as 30-year-old Joshua Rosen of Tucson.
Crews had been searching at the lake since around 6 p.m. Saturday when deputies were alerted that Rosen had gone missing.
At this time the investigation into his death is ongoing, though there are no indications of suspicious circumstances, said MCSO Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez.
