LAKE PLEASANT, AZ — Maricopa County Sheriff's Office dive teams are working to recover the body of a jet skier who fell into Lake Pleasant and never resurfaced.
Crews were dispatched to the lake around 2:20 p.m. Sunday after receiving a call that a man in his late forties had fallen off his jet-ski and was having trouble swimming.
After searching for more than an hour, officials say attempts to locate the man proved unsuccessful.
The dive team is out again Monday, searching "potential target areas."
Authorities say this is an active investigation. The victim is not being identified at this time.
