Officials are testing a driver for impairment after a head-on crash in Peoria.
The crash happened around 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday near 86th Avenue and Union Hills Drive.
Peoria police said a driver in a sedan was driving westbound when it drifted into eastbound lanes and hit a truck.
The driver of the truck was alert when officers arrived on the scene and was not transported to the hospital.
The driver of the sedan was transported to the hospital with a possible broken leg. The driver is also being tested for possible impairment.
