PEORIA, AZ — Peoria police are investigating after one man was found shot and killed Sunday morning.
Officers say they responded to reports of an argument followed by gunshots near 91st and Northern avenues around 9:50 a.m.
When they arrived on the scene, they located a 19-year-old man who had been shot and killed in the street.
Police say they located the suspect inside a nearby house and detained multiple people. David Sanchez, 19, was arrested and booked into jail on a first-degree murder charge.

The incident appears to be isolated and those involved appear to know each other, police say.
Detectives say this is an active investigation and urge anyone with information to call the Peoria Police Department.
