Peoria police are looking for a suspect accused of wrapping a rope around his wife's neck.
Police say 48-year-old Juan Borbon-Hurtado drove his wife to the 7400 block of W. Northern Avenue on March 30, where he took a rope and tried to strangle her.
She fought back, and was able to escape and call police.
He was last seen driving east on Northern Avenue in his truck, though law enforcement has since recovered the vehicle.
Borbon-Hurtado is described as a Hispanic male, approximately five feet, eight inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
He may be driving a gold, 4-door 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with Arizona license plate BSW1568, police said.
Anyone with information about Borbon-Hurtado's location or has information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Peoria Police Department non-emergency number at 623-773-8311.
