Peoria police said a motorcyclist died after colliding with a car at Thunderbird Road and 91st Avenue on Monday.
According to investigators, the motorcyclist had the right of way when a car failed to yield and crashed into the victim's motorcycle. The rider, 60-year-old Gary Croddy, of Sun City, was thrown from his motorcycle and taken to a hospital where he later died.
The driver in the car was not hurt and has not been cited or charged at this time. Police said impairment does not seem to be a factor in the crash.
