Police believe a possible impaired driver caused a deadly crash in Peoria on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred near 87th Avenue and Cactus Road around 5 a.m.
Peoria police said the driver of a sedan ran a red light, crashing into a pickup truck. The driver of the sedan, 21-year-old Jennifer Adamaitis, died from her injuries.
According to police, the driver of the sedan showed possible signs of impairment at the scene.
Cactus Road was shut down in both directions from 83rd to 91st avenues for several hours.
