A wild burro on the run was no match for officials in the northwest Valley.
Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to Loop 303 at Lone Mountain Parkway shortly after 1 p.m.
DPS asked the Bureau of Land Management to assist with capturing the animal.
Troopers were able to get the animal safely off of the road before 2 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
