A truck driver who almost ran over pedestrians twice is still at large, and Maricopa deputies are on the hunt for him.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, two men who were walking in the Wittmann area were almost ran over by a large Ford pickup truck that drove, at a high rate of speed, directly towards them.
One of the men shot at the maroon Ford F-250 truck.
The man who was driving the truck turned the vehicle around and tried to hit the pedestrians a second time.
Deputies believe the truck was then involved in a collision with a semi-truck.
The driver of the truck left the scene of the accident and abandoned the truck, which MCSO determined was a stolen vehicle from Peoria.
MCSO is still looking for the driver of the truck, however a description of the suspect is not available.
