SUN CITY, AZ — A woman is dead after a house fire sparked in Sun City Wednesday morning.
Sun City Fire crews were called to a home near 99th and Grand avenues where they found heavy fire conditions.
One victim and a dog were rescued from the flames. The woman was rushed to a hospital where she died, according to fire officials.
The woman's name hasn't been released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
