On Thursday the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office will hold a community meeting to answer questions and talk about its investigation after someone reported a child has been possibly kidnapped or abducted in Waddell, Ariz.
MCSO deputies spent 13 hours canvassing the area, knocking on homes and searching vehicles on Dec. 9, 2015. After an exhaustive search, no children were reported missing to MCSO and deputies could not confirm that any child had been abducted or kidnapped.
The meeting will be held at Shadow Ridge High School on Thursday at 6 p.m. The school is located near Perryville Road and Peoria Avenue.
MCSO staff will be on site to answer and better inform Cortessa residents about the timeline of events surrounding the child abduction call.
