Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies are investigating in a Surprise neighborhood after an 8-year-old was bitten by a neighbor's dog on Friday night.
Sergeant Joaquin Enriquez said the 8-year-old boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries after going next door to play with a friend.
Air15 video over the scene near 115th Avenue and Bell Road showed multiple units in the area.
The case remains under investigation, but Enriquez said it didn't appear any criminal charges would result from the incident.
The child was taken to the hospital by his mother, MCSO said.
