A cyclist was killed in a crash involving a vehicle in Waddell on Wednesday evening.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, just before 6:30 p.m. deputies responded to a report of a crash involving a car and cyclist near 183rd Avenue and Waddell Road.
As deputies arrived, they found that the cyclist, an adult man, was hit by a passenger car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say at this time speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the incident. The driver remained at the scene, according to deputies.
