SURPRISE, AZ — An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper was involved in a crash along Grand Avenue in Surprise Friday morning.
The wreck occurred near Grand Avenue and RH Johnson Boulevard around 8:30 a.m.
According to Surprise Fire-Medical Department, five people were injured in the crash, including one with serious injuries.
DPS said the involved trooper was one of the patients who suffered minor injuries.
