TOLLESON, AZ — Tolleson officials say one person is dead and two are injured after a crash involving a semi truck and passenger car near I-10 and 99th Avenue.
The crash occurred early Monday morning when a car headed southbound on 99th Avenue collided with a westbound truck that was turning left onto the Interstate 10 ramp.
A man who was in the car died from his injuries. Another man and woman in the car suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police say the truck driver is cooperating with police and not suspected of impairment. It's unclear whether impairment is a factor for the driver of the car.
