It was a deadly weekend for Arizona drivers. Six people were killed on Phoenix area roads.

1. 19th and Glendale avenues
A 49-year-old man died in a hit-and-run crash at 19th and Glendale avenues on at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday. A Toyota 4Runner was heading northbound on 19th Avenue when it hit the man who was walking against the light in the crosswalk. The driver left the scene. Read the full story here.
2. 32nd Street and McDowell Road
One person was killed in a single-car crash at 32nd Street and McDowell Road around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. The driver lost control and crashed into a building. The 24-year-old driver died at the scene. Read the full story here.
3. Interstate 17 and Northern Avenue
A woman died in a two-vehicle crash involving a DUI suspect on Interstate 17 and Northern Avenue around 3 a.m. on Monday. According to a DPS spokesperson, 20-year-old Desiree Sabby was killed after she struck a vehicle that was stopped in the third lane with the driver passed out. Read the full story here.
4. 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road
A man in his 40s died in a crash involving multiple cars at 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. Three other people were injured in the crash. Read the full story here.
5. Interstate 10 and 51st Avenue
A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Interstate 10 at 51st Avenue on Sunday morning. DPS said there were several other crashes in the area after the pedestrian was hit. Read the full story here.
6. Interstate 10 near Casa Grande
A wrong-way driver died after crashing into a vehicle on Interstate 10 near milepost 190. The incident is the 14th wrong-way crash reported in the Phoenix area in 2018. Read the full story here.
