Seeing movies on the big screen can break the bank… unless you know where to look! I want to show you three incredibly simple ways to score free tickets to advance movie screenings!
They aren't just reserved for VIPs, anyone can get free tickets.
We found an avid movie fan and writer named Althea Clark and she offers these three tips:
1. Register for a free account with Gofobo, a site where movie studios and public relations firms offer those screening passes to the public until they run out. You'll want to get the mobile alerts because they go fast!
They're banking on you posting on social media — which is free advertising for them.
If it's a private screening you'll need a private RSVP code and those are released through radio contests, newspaper and magazine articles, and sometimes on Twitter and Facebook!
2. Follow public relations firms on social media. They offer free tickets, prizes and invitations to special events for upcoming movie releases, Hollywood news, RSVP codes and DVD prize packs.
Allied Integrated Marketing is one of the largest of these PR firms.
3. If you're a writer, review films for your local paper or set up a movie review blog and earn advertising revenue.
Just get creative! There are many ways to earn money watching movies!
What else do you need to know?
Be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the screening.
Keep in mind that the first few rows of the theater are reserved for members of the press and screenings are frequently overbooked. You may be turned away if you don't show up early enough.
