July is a busy month, so pay attention, Smart Shoppers! I'm going to break down the deals you should look for, and what you should avoid!
The following information includes our past research, along with insight from DealNews and MoneyTalksNews.
Expect to see some discounts on summer apparel and outdoor gear during Fourth of July sales.
Every year on July 11, Seven Eleven stores give away FREE 12-ounce slurpees! So, we will bring you the update this time around. Expect other freebies and deals for National French Fry Day, National Ice Cream Day, National Hot Dog Day, and on July 31, Baskin Robbins typically offers a deal on all 31 flavors!
If you need to fly during Labor Day, book your flights this month to save!
Christmas in July sales will take over stores. Not only will you start to see the holiday items out in stores, but in the past, The Home Depot had big sales on trees and lights. So, get ready to ring up those jingle bells!
Amazon Prime Day starts July 15 this year and will last for 48 hours. Some of the lightning deals will save you the most. But, DealNews warns you to avoid the Amazon Prime Day filler deals. Other retailers will host their own sales to compete, so be sure to do comparisons and avoid impulse purchases.
You should also avoid laptops and back-to-school items because the sales will be better in August.
Grills will be better in September or October.
