It’s time to start thinking of what you’re eating this week.

I got the ads early so I can help you save -- and there are great deals in every category of the food pyramid!

 

Let's start with protein.

Albertsons is having a rib fest, offering half off!

Food City has pork brisket ribs for 97 cents per pound.

And Safeway has large Lucerne eggs on sale for 88 cents each.

 

In the fruit category, Fry's Food has cherries for 97 cents per pound.

Bashas’ has mangoes on sale -- two for 88 cents.

While you’re there, grab red or green seedless grapes for 88 cents per pound.

Safeway has six ounces of blueberries for 88 cents each.

Stop in at Food City for their three-day sale because Friday through Sunday, you can get four avocados for $1.

 

This next sale can fit into any category. We're talking Lunchables -- perfect for back to school!

Safeway has them on sale for a buck each if you use their $1-off digital coupon.

 

For breakfast, Food City has Pop Tarts or Kelloggs cereals on sale for $1.49 each when you buy four.

At Albertsons, the sale is four for $5 on everything from Quaker cereal, granola bars and pancake mix.

 

Safeway and Albertsons have you taken care of in the dairy department.

Get two pounds of Lucerne chunk or shredded cheese for $4.99 each. The regular price is $8.99.

 

Don’t forget your veggies! Get six ears of corn for $1 at Safeway.

 

There are lots of deals to wash it all down.

At Fry’s Food, get a deal on Pepsi, 7UP, Mountain Dew and Kickstart; it’s buy five and get each drink for 88 cents each.

Prefer Gatorade? Buy 10 bottles of Gatorade or Propel and get each bottle for 59 cents.

Safeway has a deal too; buy 12 bottles of Gatorade or Propel and get them for 58 cents each.
