Temperatures have cooled off, and the leaves are changing throughout our state. It's what we refer to as "bragging season" here in Arizona. Mortimer Farms is in Dewey, and now through October 27, you can enjoy all kinds of activities during the Pumpkin Festival. They have a petting zoo, over 40 farm-inspired rides, Friday night barn dances, fun shows, gifts, grub, corn mazes, a U-pick pumpkin patch, a country store and more!
They harvest pumpkins, and families can go out and pick which ones will be perfect to carve. Pumpkins are not included in admission, so you'll pay according to size when you're at the Country Store or on your way out of the festival. Online, it says the cost is $.75 - $1 per pound.
