Don't want to cook this Thanksgiving? Here are pre-made, ready-to-eat meals you can order

Thanksgiving is next week. So, let's talk safety first.

We've done plenty of stories with experts encouraging you to only be around the people you live with and to get creative this year. Maybe do a virtual holiday celebration instead to connect with your extended family and friends. Remember, if you must have people over who don't live in your household, you can have them get a COVID test beforehand, wear masks, hold the event outside, and have only one person dishing out the grub.

Speaking of food, if you don't feel like cooking, you can gobble up some Thanksgiving meal deals prepared by others!

PRE-MADE THANKSGIVING MEALS YOU CAN ORDER:

Fry's, Albertsons, Bashas', Food City, and other grocery stores are offering pre-made Thanksgiving meals that come with the main course, dessert, and all the fixings! There are different options depending on your party size, which ultimately changes the price. Most cost between $50 and $70.

Some deliver and some have you pick up. Regardless, check the deadlines to order. Some need you to place your order by Saturday, November 21, others by Monday, November 23.

Heads up! You'll need about two-to-three hours to heat everything up on Thanksgiving day.

RESTAURANTS OPEN ON THANKSGIVING:

There are other options too! RetailMeNot has a list of 25 restaurants open on Turkey Day. You can get meals to-go that will make you feel stuffed.

Plus, locally-owned restaurants that are open on the holiday would sure love your business. That would be a gift to them this holiday season. Just check locations near you, and plan ahead.

Have a safe holiday! Know that I'm thankful for all of you!
