Start the weekend off with free fun.
Castles and Coastershas a new thrill ride and they're giving you a chance to try it out free.
On Saturday, from noon until 5 p.m., take 10 canned food items to Castles and Coasters and you'll get a free bronze pass.
That pass gets you unlimited outdoor rides.
That's a great deal because the regular cost for that pass is $24.99 and all you have to do is help feed the hungry.

A free evening of ballet with Ballet Arizona.
They are having free performances at different outdoor locations throughout the month.
The next performance is Thursday at Beardsley Park in Sun City West at 7 p.m.
So grab a blanket or chair and sit back and relax.

On Thursday, September 24, the Arizona Coyoteswill have an intra-squad game at Gila River Arena.
It is a free game and they are encouraging fans to bring new teddy bears to participate in a post-game teddy bear toss.
The game starts at 6 p.m. and parking is also free.

After all of those activities, it's time for dessert.
Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is opening a new location in Gilbert and that means freebies for you.
Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., they will be giving away free eight ounce yogurts.
They will have more freebies throughout the weekend, including t-shirts, dolls and face painting.

National Seat Check is Saturday, September 19 and Mountain Vista Medical Center is offering free car seat safety checks to celebrate.
The center is offering the free checks to Queen Creek and San Tan Valley residents on Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
They will also have free skin care screening, face painting, music and refreshments.
The event will be held at desert grove family medical.
