Sam’s Club is offering free health screenings at all of their Phoenix stores Friday, January 9, from 11 a.m. to
4 p.m.
They will test several things including blood pressure, cholesterol and body mass index. Call your closest location because services vary per club.
Head over to the Phoenix Art Museum on Sunday, January 10, for their Discount Tire Free Family Sunday event.
They will offer free admission every second Sunday of each month from noon to 5 p.m.
Regular admission is $15 for adults so it's a good savings.

Dr. Karen Prentice has a new book to help busy families enjoy healthy food and she’s giving you a chance to have a little fun while you learn about the book, An Apple a Day the Doctor’s Way: Dr. Karen’s Nutritional Guide and Cookbook.
On Saturday, January 9, she will have free face painting, snacks, cooking demonstrations with kids and of course nutrition advice at her open house. It’s from 9 a.m. – noon at Where the Garden Grows Medical Clinic.
