When it comes to books, it's magical when you can get lost in the story! It's almost like you lose SHELF awareness! If that's you, BOOKMARK this event!
The annual summer Big Book Sale is back at Main Library in Mesa June 22nd and 23rd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day!
Books will be priced as low as, and starting at 50 cents! There will be books, audiobooks, DVDs, vinyl records, magazines and more!
Plus, they have these special discounts being offered (cannot be combined):
- The first 100 people through the door on Friday, June 22nd, will receive a coupon from library staff for 20 percent off their entire purchase. A coupon is required.
- Military gets 20 percent off with a valid ID.
- Teachers get 50 percent off with a valid ID.
- Saturday, June 23rd, everything will be 50 percent off!
We were told the books for sale include fiction, romance, science fiction, youth and children's books. There will also be non-fiction books including business/finance, religion, self-help, history, art, cookbooks, coffee table books and more.
All the money raised from used book sales goes to supporting library programs, improvements and services. Our love of words BINDS us all together!
