The weather is cooling off but the deals at Valley grocery stores are still hot. Our Smart Shopper team searched the ads for the best deals!

Fry's Food has the best deal we found on strawberries this week, 99 cents for a 16 ounce container. The next best price we found is at Albertsons for $1.47.

Since we're talking Albertsons, the company is sharing a lot of good deals with Safeway this week. Both have Yoplait yogurt on sale for 44 cents each. You can also get General Mills cereal, Pillsbury Toaster Strudel and Betty Crocker fruit snacks for $1.49 each at both stores. And it's the perfect time for soup! Progresso soups are on sale for 99 cents at Albertsons and Safeway. That'll save you about 50 cents per can. Plus you can get a gallon of Lucerne milk for $1.89.

You'll also pay $1.89 for a gallon of Bashas' milk. While you're there grab a 6 ounce container of raspberries for 97 cents each.

Food City has a great deal on 18 large eggs, just 99 cents per package. And on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you can get three heads of iceberg lettuce for 99 cents. The usual price is 99 cents for just one head of lettuce, so that's a good deal!

It seems all of the Valley grocery stores are preparing for cool weather barbeques because there are lots of meat sales, some as good as buy one and get three free.

So check your ads and stick to your list.
