'Tis the season for giving, and by that, I mean hundreds of you will be getting a free turkey.
The Herozona Foundation is having their 15th Annual Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
All you have to do is show up at the American Legion near 16th Street and Broadway Road and you'll get a frozen turkey, fruit and vegetables -- and it's all free!
It's valid until they run out of food, and it’s only one free frozen turkey per family.
They are expecting to give out at least 500 meals to families in need.
Thank you to Herozona for spreading the holiday joy! Their focus is to empower and celebrate our veterans.
Also, this event will be put on with support from the Arizona Diamondbacks, St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance and Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
