PHOENIX — Maricopa County Animal Care and Control is offering discounted adoptions this Labor Day weekend.

From Friday, August 30, to Sunday, September 1, dogs and cats will have adoption fees between $25 and $50.
To break it down:
- Dogs that weigh 20 pounds or less: $50
- Dogs that weigh 21 pounds or more: $25
- Cats: $25
- Kittens: $50
Puppies and Shelter Super Heroes are excluded from the deal.
On Monday, September 2, all animal adoptions will be 50 percent off.
MCACC will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and all animals will have half-off adoption prices. Monday's adoption deal includes puppies and Shelter Super Heroes.
