They also have lunch box apples for a penny more per pound.
Get a personal seedless watermelon for that same price --88 cents per pound -- at Fry's Food.
At Food City, go during their three-day sale and score peaches, nectarines and plums. You can get two pounds for 98 cents. That's half off what I saw on sale at other stores!
VEGETABLES
For veggies, get ten ears of corn for a buck at Bashas’ during their lightning sale on Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Get three heads of iceberg lettuce for 99 cents at Food City and three cucumbers for that same price.
Finish off the salad with organic tomatoes on the vine. They're 98 cents per pound at Bashas’.
MEAT
As for meat, Safeway has a buy one, get two free deal on their pork loin back ribs. You’ll pay $8.99 per pound for that first pack.
For drinks, Albertsons has 32-ounce bottles of Gatorade on sale for 58 cents.
Safeway has that same deal on their 32-ounce bottles of Powerade drinks if you use their digital coupon. You'll have to buy 12 to get that deal.
DRINKS
Fry's Food has 12 packs of Pepsi, 7UP and Coke on sale for $2.79 each when you buy three.
Safeway has six-pack bottles of Coke, Pepsi and 7UP for $1.99 each.
DESSERT
Finally dessert! Albertsons has Signature Select, Dreyers and Nestle Novelties for $1.99.
