I personally do not like perfumes on my body but I do like to smell clean without breaking the bank.
My solution is to make my own body mist spray for a fraction of what it would cost at stores like Sprouts and Whole Foods.
Here is my recipe for making a simple lavender scent body mist:
You will need just three ingredients:
*One empty 6-8 ounce spray bottle
*4 ounces of distilled water
*10 to 20 drops of 100% pure essential lavender oil (or any essential oil scent that you prefer)
Fill the spray bottle with distilled water, and then add 20 drops of lavender. Next cover the spray bottle, shake it up and do a test spray to see if you like the smell. If you want a stronger lavender smell, add 10 more drops of lavender. If you want to make a different scent, you can use many different essential oils -- Anything from sweet orange to peppermint, just make sure you are using essential oils that are good on your skin.
Where can you find a good deal on good quality essential oils and supplies? I buy most of my supplies, like spray bottles and essential oils, from Bulkapothecary.com. I like their prices and I like buying in bulk.
