Now, you have to be 25 years or older to drive, and the rental driver is the party responsible for the vehicle while under his/her control. You'll need to have a valid driver's license, credit card in the same name, proof of full coverage, personal automobile insurance. Commercial policies do not qualify. Additional drivers must provide the same information. If the rental driver does not meet these requirements, the rental contract will be canceled and your money will be refunded.
The website states: "Barlow Adventures does not sell collision damage coverage or insurance. With most insurance companies in most states, if you carry a "full coverage" auto policy on your own vehicle, it covers you in any vehicle you are driving, including rental cars. This is the 'collision' or 'comprehensive' part of your policy."

Barlow Adventures instructors endure (enjoy?) years of training before leading classes, and come from extensive backgrounds in various outdoor sports, emergency services, and education. This is not a weekend job--this is what we DO!
What makes a great 4x4 Instructor?
First, our instructors must be expert drivers in a variety of terrain and with an understanding of the mechanics involved with different types of 4-wheel-drive vehicles. Rocks, mud, sand, and snow each offer their different challenges and our instructors have extensive experience in all of them and in a vast range of 4x4's.
Second, our instructors must be experts at instructing. There are plenty of gifted and experienced four-wheelers out there, but being able to communicate those abilities effectively is a whole different skill set. Our instructors represent the select few who demonstrate the ability to provide a client with a course that is relevant to his or her level and skill.
Last but not least, a great 4-wheel-drive instructor not only has nerves of steel, but never forgets that this is FUN!"
