The RoomStore is filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy, which means they will be closing all of their Arizona stores.
Their inventory is being liquidated, so does this mean some good deals for you?
The next store scheduled to close is located on Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road. I was told by one of the employees that since the Tatum store is next in line to close, the sales are much more aggressive.
At this particular store, I found all of the furniture to be comparably or better priced than other furniture stores that are not going out of business. For example, they had a couch for $700. That seems in line with other competitively priced furniture stores and is not a bargain, in my opinion.
What I found that is a good deal are their accessories like lamps and mirrors. All of the accessories are 70% off their regular prices.
Also, all of their 5x7 rugs are $99. Most of the items left at the Tatum location are floor model furniture. Just make sure to do your own research before you assume it's a good deal.
