Here is a little trick I discovered on how to get a red wine stain out without buying a cleaner.
Recently I was at a holiday party and I spilled some red wine on my sweater. I immediately blotted the red wine stain out with a paper towel or cloth. After that I asked the host if she had any white wine and luckily she did.
I then poured the white wine over the red wine stain on my shirts and simply blotted it out.
Viola the stain was gone. Now this trick only works on fresh stains and blotting is key, prior to pouring the white wine.
