Indicted Arizona lobbyist Jim Norton is taking a leave of absence for Axiom Public Affairs, a coworker confirmed to ABC15 Wednesday afternoon.

Norton was indicted in a federal bribery case last week. Norton is accused of being a go-between for an influence-peddling scheme involving Johnson Utilities owner George Johnson and former Arizona Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce.

Norton has worked as a lobbyist for several well-know entities including the Arizona Chamber of Commerce. His photo has been taken off Axiom's website, which now lists Kelsey Lundy as the new Managing Partner.

Norton is scheduled for arraignment in federal court on June 7.
